Got on the trail at 10am, four other cars in the lot. We saw two people hiking down with packs on our hike up anD a man with his dog at the summit. The trail is in great shape and my friends 12 yr old Yorkshire Terrier bounded up between us. At 6.5 miles and 4,200 ft (1,500 ft in the last 0.8 miles) it’s a strenuous hike but the views, oh boy. There were a few yellow jacket hornets at the Summit so if you’re allergic be aware. A few Salmon berries in the first mile and no shortage of cow pies on the trail and we saw about a dozens cows and heifers between miles 2 and 3. 2:55 up and 2:20 down.

My Yorkie turned to me and he said:
"Better head back to Teanaway Jed."
