Arrived at the trailhead parking lot at 0630 and was the second car there.
Trail conditions were excellent, and only a few muddy spots for those with kids. The fall foliage is just beginning to turn, providing some highlights for photography.
We hiked up the entire route to the terminus point while encountering only 1 other group coming down. On the return trip, it was more crowded and we crossed about 9 or 10 groups.
