Started hike at 10:45 with a little mud. Then sloppy mud to slick then snow. Snow was melting quickly which made snow/slush tricky without extra foot grip. Actually, even with additional traction, I slipped onto my but a few times.
Hike was lovely. I was worried about maneuvering up/around boulders at the top, but it was not an issue, but the wind was impressive.
I’ve lost my glasses on trail this past spring, so want to share items found and put on trailhead sign. Compass and cool bandanna (image below).
