Mount Ellinor — Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2020

Freezing levels in the olympics were 10k+ so I opted for a snow free hike.  Easy drive to the upper trailhead.  Decided to scope out the winter trail b4 I attempt this winter.  Took the winter split on the way up and summer route on the way back.  There were 3 other humans at the summit.  Pretty cool being above the clouds - nice to have extra layers for the windy summit and sunscreen. Next time I’ll bring the doggo. I’m glad it was a weekday / no crowds.
