Arrived about 10:30am and hiked about 2.5 miles in before turning back. Started off beautiful blue sky day with 2 creek crossings. Beautiful view of the mountains and the valley below. Then about 12:50pm, the fog began coming in along the valley and by the time we got back to the parking lot, we couldn't see the sky.
There is snow and a bit of ice on the road to the 4th of July creek Trailhead.
