Snoqualmie Region > North Bend Area
A new perspective on tree hugging

This is a nice shortish hike for children, though it gains elevation the whole way. Two nice places to look out. A few notes

Bathrooms: there are several vault toilet buildings along the road leading to the trailhead and two vault toilets at the trailhead. Both had TP. Wear your mask, it helps contain the awful smells. Otherwise clean.
Other facilities: there are numerous picnic tables at the trailhead along the River.

Road: some big potholes right before and after the one lane bridge that is just before the TH. Cars and trucks got thru them fine. Just be aware.

Trail conditions: pretty rocky and muddy in parts. A couple downed trees that you can easily climb over and small children may choose to climb under. As a 6’ individual, I could step over the trees but those shorter will likely need to use the tree as a step
