Wonderful hike!! The road to the TH was 100% clear with minimal potholes and the trail to high hut was well groomed. We encountered maybe a handful of hikers plus a few ski patrol. This hike is straight up hill until you reach the hut so it is definitely a leg burner, especially in snowshoes, but if you catch the top on a clearly sunny day it is so worth it!
And much to our dogs pleasure, there is still plenty of snow!

Snowshoes. The day we were there it seemed as though spikes would not help much.
