Gorgeous clear day. There was snow on the road so we had to park 2 miles before the Trailhead. Total hike clocked in about 7.7 miles. Requires gaitor, microspikes, and navigation device to get to the top due to a lot of snow on the trail, not clear trail w all the snow, and a lot of fallen trees. We started about 9 am from where we parked. We had to make our own trails on the snow to get around a lot of fallen trees and then use GPS to navigate ourself. Snow was soft and slippery. Watch out for the snow giving out into a hole. Thankfully, we had people who have been to the top during the summer when there was no snow to recognize places along route. A lot of potholes on the road to parking. The windows of the Lookout were boarded up.
