Iron Bear - Teanaway Ridge — Monday, May. 31, 2021

Central Cascades > Blewett Pass

We arrived to the trailhead @9AM, and there were plenty of parking spots; however, when we came back after the hike @1pm, there were many cars.

Trail is in a great shape, moderately steep, and almost all the time is open. You can see lots of beautiful flowers blooming along the trail.
Since the trail is pretty open and doesn’t have lots of shade, I highly recommend to start hiking as early as possible and to take sunscreen and lots of water. On our way back it was getting very hot. BTW, our America the Beautiful pass laying on the dashboard melted and became soft (it’s the first time I’ve seen plastic card melted on a dashboard) - you can imagine how hot it was to hike back :)

The views at the top were absolutely stunning! You can vividly see gorgeous mountains! I definitely recommend this hike!

The green card holder with the ATB pass will prevent it from melting. It's a trick I learned from one of the rangers at Seattle REI!
