What an iconic soggy Washington day to go hiking. First time at this spot, and happy the rain seemed to keep some crowds away - it was pouring. Left the trailhead around 1:30 and got back a little before 5. Took us 2 hrs up but we stopped for lots of breaks to look at cool stuff, and with a bum knee I had to take it slow to navigate some of the big steps/root balls. There is some snow on the lake loop but it was easy to navigate. By the time we made our way down, the trail had become a creek, but still doable. Road is as bad as everyone says.
Final note - don't throw your goddamn orange peels on the ground! LNT!

more human trash - no surprised but just shows where the real problems in society are.
