Barclay Lake — Thursday, Jun. 17, 2021

Central Cascades > Stevens Pass - West
Beginning trail through the trees

Barclay Lake is a beautiful, easy hike with lots of good scenery.  The road in has many potholes, some of them substantial.  We had a RAV4 and still had to do lots of weaving to get around the biggest ones. There were 7 cars at 9:30 at the trailhead when we arrived and lots more when we finished at 1:30.  A number of people were camping overnight in some of the nice campsites.

The trail is in good condition.  The trail from the mid-section of the lake to the east end has many mudholes.  The sturdy log bridge with handrail is in good shape.
