Cape Disappointment State Park - Cape Disappointment Lighthouse — Wednesday, Jun. 16, 2021

This was the 3rd time that we have completed this trail and it is one of our favorites at this park.  We hiked with our two dogs and our boys (11 and 15).  We started at the camp grounds where we were staying.  The trail head is across from the check in station.  This trail gives you amazing views and takes you to part of the remains of the old fort.  There is even the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center at the end of the trail.  This center is very informative and our boys enjoyed it.  Unfortunately,  that is where it ends.  You can no longer hike to Dead Man's Cove or to the lighthouse.  You do get amazing views of it from the Interpretive center though.
