Trip Report

Mount Washington — Friday, Jun. 18, 2021

Snoqualmie Region > North Bend Area
View from the true summit

Hiked Friday afternoon, a near perfect day for this trail.

The Trailhead

Parking was plentiful at 4pm. TH vault toilet in good condition.

The Trail

Bring a GPS/map/AllTrails if you can because there are a couple turns that are easy to miss or get wrong. Trail is in great shape but a lot of rocks/stones to kick around for at least a third of it, so maybe bring poles if you need the stability. A couple small stream crossings and streams running down the trail in sections but a non-concern, more than enough rocks available for footing. Snow is almost completely gone from the trail - there's only about 100 feet of it left on trail.

The Summit

Fantastic views south from the false summit and nearly as good towards the north from the true summit. Beware of flies and mosquitos at the summit - they were an annoyance so bring inspect repellant.
