Barclay Lake — Thursday, Jul. 15, 2021

After navigating the FS road with some large potholes, we arrived at 10:30 am to find the parking lot about half full.  The privy at the trailhead was open and in good condition.  The hike was interesting with many changes in views and path types.  Be watchful of the many roots and rocks.  We encountered a few hikers on the way in and back, some with dogs.  We found a private spot on the lake to enjoy the view and a leisurely lunch.  We returned to the trailhead about 1:30 pm and found the lot almost full and a few cars parked on the road - a total of about a dozen cars.  A very enjoyable hike!
