I actually rock climbed the South face of Ingalls Peak, but couldn't find that on this website, probably because it's an actual climb. The weather was good, but hot. We started out at 6 AM and the parking lot wasn't bad for a Friday morning. By the time we came down at 8 PM it was full and overflowing onto the road. The road was passable for my Camry, but it had large potholes. Not nearly as bad as the road in to Fall Creek in Capital Forest though. We saw a lot of people heading up with rope, so my guess is Saturday will be busy up there. I sprayed bug spray multiple times and still got bit, they were awful. There were several tress down on the lower trail, but there were clear work arounds. The climb it's self was awesome and I would totally recommend it. Getting to it requires some serious endurance. There were lots of mountain goats in the area.Take tons of water or a filter to refill at the lake, which is also beautiful. Excellent views of Mount Stewart!
