Poo Poo Point — Friday, Aug. 20, 2021

Hiked the Chirico route 9-10 years ago and decided to try this longer route on a cloudy day. As we drove along I90, realized we may have a misty view but that didn’t deter us! Parked in the small lot along 2nd Ave around 10:30am with two additional spots available. The trail is in great condition with truly no visible trash anywhere. Not a lot of people out likely due to the weather (it rained most of the way!), and I marveled at being less than 30 mins from home and having such a beautiful trail to hike.

Alas, the top was still in the clouds even by noon. The trail is well marked and as mentioned, it has been well taken care of by all who came before us - thank you! This remains a great trail and unlike Rattlesnake Ridge, I’ll return again.
