24aug2021 ~09:45 ~low_60s_F, i arrived at the Beaver Lake Trailhead parking. i was the only one there. i went out .. ~1.3 miles later, arrived at the Beaver Lake View Platform where the "Trail End" (probably, cos the bridge [beyond it] across the lake is broken).
The first ~0.5 mile of the Trail from the Trailhead seemed "maintained" - had minimal or no bush overgrowing on/over the Trail. Its the latter ~half of the Trail where more sections had overgrown bush. And yes, on my way back to the Parking, i did a Lite_Clipped some of these overgrown bush .. i just can't resist .. its getting to be so much fun doing "Clip-cum-HIke" .. 😊
There were a few small muddy sections and small stream crossings - easily passable. The hike was almost fully-shaded from the sun, which was nice cos the temperature was creepihg to the low 70s_F. ~11:30 back the the Parking, i noticed 2 vehicles had arrived. And the people were preparing for their hike.
Nice lusicious green forest and views of the Sauk River, and the mountains around. And though i noticed there were bugs at Beaver Lake, i didn't get bitten 😅
Last but NOT least - the Privy at the Trailhead is very clean - Big Thanks to the NF and Maintenance Crew!
Happy Trails Everyone! 😊
