We saw a break in the weather forecast for Saturday morning and decided to make the best of it. We parked at the lower trailhead at 8 am with only one other car there when we arrived. The lower trailhead does not have any bathrooms like the upper trailhead so keep that in mind. The lower trail is a fairly easy hike until the junction with the upper trail. Most of the elevation for the remainder of the hike is gained probably in the last mile or so which ended up taking majority of the hike. Made it to the top in about 3 hours and back down in 2. It was a bit cloudy at the summit but we still had good views.
