We found the first winter wonderland of the season! Arrived around 1pm on a Sunday, main lot had a couple spaces open. Road is the usual pothole situation, not too bad and most are avoidable. First quarter mile of the hike is very muddy and full of deep puddles. After that it was slushy, then snowy! The snow got to about a foot deep by Olallie Lake, but the trail was packed down, easy to find and pass through. Be sure to bring traction and poles, it was slippery. Great early season snow hike!
