Dirty Harry's Peak, Dirty Harry's Balcony — Sunday, Mar. 20, 2022

Snoqualmie Region > Snoqualmie Pass

There were lots of vehicles in the parking lot and parked along the road on this rainy Sunday afternoon. Trail was in good condition. Snow coverage began after the Museum Creek crossing.

I planned on trying to go up to Web Mountain via the talus field SE of Granite Creek. I even brought my snowshoes. As I passed below it, I decided not to attempt it so late in the day(almost 4) without my forgotten headlamp. I only know a very rough approximation of the route, and there wouldn't be views from up there. I'll save it for a clear day.

I continued on up to DHP. I really enjoy it up there with or without views and I spent almost an hour with the place to myself. Then I had a great run down, especially the snowy upper half. I slow down a lot on the really rocky areas below with my darn shin pain lately.
