Greenwater and Echo Lakes — Friday, Apr. 15, 2022

This hike was completely snow covered today but the snow is sticky and we didn’t even need our micro spikes. Other people’s footprints are easy to follow until the end of Greenwater Lake (pond). After that the snow and trail conditions were too dicey to continue, and there was a notice on the reader board at the trailhead indicating that the log bridge was out at 2.5 miles. We were the only people on the trail today! Lovely, snowy, and solitary
