A quick hike with my 11 month old at Ebey's Landing today.
We started late around 3 PM and parked at the trailhead parking lot by the seaside.
We went up and took a right at the trail junction towards Jacob and Sarah Ebey's plank and blockhouse and turned around.
Back at the trail junction, we took a right and went along the bluff and then hike down towards the lagoon and the beach.
I was a little worried that I found out last minute that the tide was rising and would be at the highest within 1 hour when we're at the beach. Turns out it was fine. There's a trail closer to the lagoon that we didn't have to walk on the beach the entire time.
It's a very nice hike albeit a little breezy. There's barely any crowd and we had the trail mostly to ourselves. Saw some wildflowers like white chickweed and rapeseed. It definitely felt like spring during this confusing winter/spring weather! 😉.
