My girlfriend, her best friend and yours truly challenged Rattlesnake despite the weather. On Sunday, May 15, 2022, it was raining like a cow pissing on a flat rock! By the time we reached the top though, it was dry and clear enough to see the lake.
The nasty weather kept fair-weather hikers at home. Found a couple geocaches along the trail but not at the top after a valiant attempt.
