Heybrook Lookout — Saturday, Jun. 4, 2022

Hiked Heybrook lookout this morning with my golden retriever Ginger. This was my 2nd hike of the season, and it was a lot harder than I remember it! Numerous stops to catch my breath on the way up. The trail was full of rock steps and steeper than I remember. The lookout was empty, with one couple having stayed the night. The early morning view was mesmerizing, scattered whisps of clouds trying desperately to lift off the mountains. A magnificent view!
