Groundhog Day - but not marmots or shadows today! Some mud at the beginning of the trail, maybe an inch deep for about 20 yards, but nothing to stop you. A few parking spots still available in the parking lot at 10am and 12pm on a Friday. Quite a few paragliders on their way up around 11am. No one was flying yet at 12pm. No views of Rainier today, due to a low cloud deck.
