Miller Peak Loop — Saturday, Jun. 29, 2024

Bugs just in the beginning near standing water. No snow left on trail. Road had some big potholes but could be avoided if careful. Parts of the trail are rutted out due to dirt bikes riding this trail also. Saw a mountain goat on the peak, started walking towards us so turned around. It was not shy, and on the way back down a trail runner said it snorted at her and she was able to back away before it charged.
