Fremont Lookout — Tuesday, Jul. 9, 2024

A gorgeous day at Sunrise and Fremont Lookout. Great way to beat the heat. 
I was able to easily get a permit by bring online promptly at 7 pm the night before. Does mean you have to be able to go on short notice.. the silver lining is there were fewer people on Sunrise trails than I had ever experienced.  I had the trail to myself for long periods.  And was the only one standing on the lookout for long chunks of time.  
snow free except for a couple of small patches near the lookout.
