This is a fun trail! Enough uphill to make you sweat for it, yet not overbearing. Lots of roots and rocks so watch your step. There was a fallen tree branch blocking the trail towards the beginning, enough room to walk underneath to pass.
The trail can get confusing with all the rock climbing one off's, yet they're clearly labeled if you're paying attention. Up to the balcony is pretty much all shaded, nice for an 80°F day. Beautiful Blue Jay hanging out in the rocks.
Will hike to the peak next time!
