Visited this trail at Lake Crescent exclusively for Devil's Punch Bowl. We probably should have walked through the tunnel for a full loop, but the cliff jumping was too enticing.

When you approach the tunnel, just off to the left is a small dirt trail that leads directly to Devil's Punch Bowl. It has an iconic bridge, and several spots where you can jump into the icy-cold, blue lake water. I would recommend visiting this when the sun is most intense, you will actually warm up instead of shivering between swims.

If you continue along the dirt path, there are other rocks and places to jump or stop for lunch. I believe it wraps around and you can return through the tunnel, or vice versa, but I can't confirm for sure.

For cliff jumping: you go across the bridge and there are a few different rock ledges people use, the first one is about the height of a bridge jump, the second one is about twice as high as that, and then the 3rd one is at the top of the rock about twice as high as the second jump. It's TALL. In order to not win a Darwin award, you have to clear the cliff wall that starts bowing ever so slightly in under water. It is doable from all 3 spots, and I cleared each one by quite a bit. Cliff jumping is an inherently risky activity, so be safe and don't do it alone. I would guestimate that the top one is a touch above a 40 ft drop. It's a lot of fun, but I wouldn't have attempted if I had not seen someone else do it before me.

For photographers - get here extremely early. People were here as early as 8am. We had planned on getting there sooner, but the extra sleep paid dividends for a super long day.
