Gem Lake — Friday, Aug. 2, 2024

If you are a fan of intervals, then you will love this hike. With all the offerings, it is no wonder that this is a popular hike in the snoqualmie region. Doing this after nearly a decade. Reached TH around 8.15 and it was half full. Lake was stunning as usual but the bugs were terrible. Couldn't stay at Snow or the Gem lake for more than 10 mins in spite of having a bug spray. My puppy had a dip and we started our descent back to TH. Reached TH parking lot around 1.15 and the lot was 3/4th full. Have to come back next year for bug free experience.
