Such a beautiful trail and was so happy to check this one off my list! Road to the trailhead was rough with potholes but passable for all vehicles. Toilet at the TH was clean and well stocked. Trail follows mostly through the forest with some exposure, slight elevation gain but is mostly flat and straight. When at the fork in the trail continue to the left to go to the lake. A few small creek crossings but was passable with rock hopping. It is quite muddy/ marshy around the lake so trekking poles are helpful. Remember that fires are prohibited and a NW Forest Pass is required. Please remember to always Leave No Trace, and camping is not allowed within 1/4 mile of the lake. We did a total of 4mi and took us an 1 hr 45 min.
