Misty and foggy Friday morning hike.
We got to the trailhead around 10:30, plenty of space in the lot.
It was raining when we started. There were lots of other folks on the trail. The creek crossings were manageable. We were fine without poles, but saw lots of people with them.
When we got to the lake, it was too foggy to see... anything. Including the lake. It was quite cold at the lake. We had a snack and headed back. A fellow hiker said they saw a goat near the lake, but we did not see it.
As we headed back down the trail, the sun started to come out and the rain stopped. Still didn't get many views, but could occasionally peek a peak. Had to stop and pick some berries on the way out.
Looking forward to hiking this trail again in fairer weather.
