Sheep Lake to Sourdough Gap — Sunday, Sep. 29, 2024

We got to the parking lot around 8am and there were plenty of opens spots. It was super cold and very foggy when we got out and we worried we didn't dress appropriately enough but we warmed up when we started moving. The sun coming out around 9am helped too.

Made it up to the gap, only seeing around 4 other people, and we went a little bit further on the PCT before we stopped and had lunch and made our way back. A total of 7 miles and we were out there nearly 4 hours. The lot was packed full when we got back.
