Wow! What an amazing day to hike this trail. Hiked clockwise and views were just amazing- views of Adams, Hood and Helens. Blue sky + fall colors were extraordinary. Recommend poles. Some mud & water in trail. Also recommend taking your time and absorbing the absolute wonder of nature. Also, bear sighting - a safe distance, similar to people’s reports yesterday. What a way to end September!
