Quick little hike up to the Domerie Divide Trail junction, as I was running short on time. Here are some condition:
- Kachess Dam Road is snow free. Just numerous potholes
- spur road to trail is snow covered. Maybe 2-4” of snow, with a nice track. Also this road is in great shape. Just a huge mud puddle at the start.
- 1-2” of snow at the start. Up near the Domerie Divide Trail there is 4-6” of snow with 8” snow in the open sections. I started to head up towards Easton Ridge, but due to time restraints, I turned around. It appeared that the snow was getting deeper as I went up. There were some tracks I followed, that looked to be from this morning. Just one small tree across the trail. Not much in the way of views today with the fog, but no wind or precipitation, which was nice. It’s about 2.6 miles RT with 1200ft gain to get up to the Domerie Divide /Baldy/ Easton Ridge junction
