Beautiful day yesterday morning, got there around 9am and was the second car in the lot. This is a quick and easy hike with gorgeous views. I started from the Rosario head trailhead rather than Bowman bay, which only adds a bit of distance to the hike. After circling around Rosario head to take in the sights, you'll go into the woods and follow along the cliffs until it dips back down to Bowman bay. The trail is washed out for a bit here, but I just walked along the beach instead.

Cross Bowman bay at the sand bar and you'll start heading up towards lighthouse point. Lottie bay is to your left, I usually see a bunch of harbor seals here. There's a split in the trail near here, go either way to get to lighthouse point, I went clockwise this time. No significant incline either way so it doesn't matter which path you choose.

I didn't go to lighthouse point specifically since the tide was high and the path was underwater, but there are still tons of beautiful overlooks, including of the bridge.

A lot of interesting bird species were out - I spotted cormorants, mergansers, buffleheads, black scoters, and western grebes, along with a couple eagles and a pileated woodpecker. Not much in the ways of other wildlife.

One of my favorite places to go in Washington, including in the winter. I took the long way back to Seattle down Whidbey island and to the ferry to Mukilteo, which I would recommend. I got pie from Whidbey Pies in Langley that I enjoyed during the ferry ride, would also recommend.
