The driving was no problem and though the sno-park was limited in space, it was enough for our small group. The port-a-pottie had tp - yay! Plenty of snow coverage on the road and there was a track set into it for the uphill portion. Just past the saddle, we got a view of Diamondhead across the valley and then went off trail to gain the summit highpoint of 4472' for our lunch in dappled sunlight and a sneaky view of Mt Stuart.
After lunch, the group was more interested in heading down in the trees than in completing the loop (which has no views) so we navigated down toward the road and managed to cut off about 0.5 miles of road. The rest of the trip back to the son-park went pretty quickly. Our total trip time was 3.75hrs.
