Saltese Flats Wetland — Sunday, Feb. 23, 2025

My friends had never hiked the wetlands from the newish TH on the westside of the flatlands and so a plan was made. The three of us took off with two dogs in tow for a hike full of sounds and smells for the dogs. Wide path, very little mud, part of it was graveled and to our surprise the Dorris Morrison Learning Center was open, 10-4 Sat/Sun. Volunteer on staff and the dogs were even welcomed in. This was a great hike on an otherwise dreary day and I highly recommend giving this one a go. #lovelocaltrails
