Beautiful day at the Preserve! Wildflowers were abundant. Weather was perfect (low 70s, light wind). Parking lot is small, but when we arrived at 10 am, there were approx. 4 spots open. (If the parking lot is full, you can’t park on side of road.) The trail is in excellent condition. It is a continuous uphill from the start. We normally have poles with us, but left in car - didn’t feel we needed - but…we’re 67 and probably would have appreciated on way down. 😊 There are great trail maps  and trail signage, and fun cut logs to take a break on at trail junctions or tops. We took the Sunrise trail from the Crossroads junction and the views were amazing, especially the Enchantments. The flowers were out in full force - we saw blue bells, lupine, yellow bells, arrow balsamroot and more. Some bugs, but we used bug spray before hike. Trail head easy to get to; clean restroom at start of trail.
