Another wonderful Spring hike up Hex Mountain. The views always great. I saw white-tail deer, turkeys, and no people :-) A little snow near the top, otherwise already very dry.
I walked up Newport Creek Drive but, as others have mentioned, there's a new gate and private property sign so next time I will go the NF-4305 route.
