Hiked up and over Baldy and Gray Wolf Mountain (Greywolf?) and out Royal Basin trail. Hike up to baldy was straightforward with just some snow starting just below the ridge. The ridge to gray wolf was melted out enough to stay on rock for the most part until the last couple steep stretches to the summit. Ice ax was crucial for the last snow field to the summit, and I recommend going around the north side of that ridge for a lower angle to traverse until the snow melts.
Can't say I recommend my bushwhack down to the trail on the other side of greywolf but the royal basin trail going out was lovely!
