Nice trail for a short and easy outing! I took the last spot in the lot at 7:45am. Privy is clean but not stocked.
The trail has a mix of rock and roots off/on to the lake; no downed trees! There are a few wildflowers in bloom along the way. At the lake, a lot of groups were still camping at the lake. If checking out the lake view, respect the campsites you are walking through. It was a peaceful morning at the lake!
Back on the road, cars were lined for about 1/2 mile. Do note, there are many blind corners and the road is narrow in spots. I had a few cars come close to hitting me coming up at a good clip while driving in the center. Take it slow and use your headlights for additional visibility.
