We did a sunrise hike up Ruth Mountain, it took us about five hours on the way up and three on the way back. Trail is in great shape for the first few miles minus creeks running over the trail. There are a few sketchy avalanche chutes crossings just before Hannegan Camp with streams underneath so be careful. Intermittent snow starts before Hannegan Camp and from Hannegan Camp onward it is pretty much all snow to the summit. I'm guessing Hannegan Camp will take about two weeks to melt out. The route from Hannegan Pass to the summit had fairly clear tracks. We brought an ice axe and crampons, but I think on most warm days you would be fine with just an ice axe. Overall, a stunning hike and I highly recommend it.
