I was pleasantly surprised there was no trash in the area. The falls are raging as they slide down steeply. You can only see them partly from the top where I'd be worried about children. This is a nice 1 block walk from the highway. Deception Creek Falls (up the road) is more impressive right now.
Above the falls the Tye River is currently flowing fully but will expose some rocky bars later in the summer.
Some have scrambled down the steep hill to get a view(?) up. I don't know if it's worth it.
