Arrived just past 10am on a Saturday to find one unmarked spot in the parking lot, although there were dozens of cars parked on the road.
When I started hiking I got passed by a person on an electric bike/motorbike. He got to the lake. I really couldn't believe someone would ride a bike up this trail. This is a hike only trail.
Bugs were not too bad while we were moving but started attacking as soon as we stopped. We didn't hang out too much around the lake because of this.
The lake was quite busy with large and noisy groups. Some people were fishing and even swimming, although it seemed it's quite cold for that.
No wildlife spotted. I was hoping for goats but we didn't see them.
