Norway Pass — Friday, Jun. 27, 2025

Intended to do a backpacking trip but had to change our plans because of an impossible to pass snow field. Looked extremely dangerous because of the snow. We also noticed abandoned backpacking gear near the top and saw other hikers who said they had called and that there had been multiple calls about it already. The view on the way up was great but the cloud cover that moved in eventually made it impossible to see. There was also a portion of the trail that was extremely narrow but not impossible to pass- just requires extreme caution.
