I did an overnight at Windy Lake via the Pratt Lake trail, Lower Tuscohatchie Lake and the Kaleetan Lake trail. Testing out some new gear and older body. The Kaleetan Lake trail is in good shape, only a couple of blow-downs around where it crosses the Pratt River. Boy, it's a leg-burner.
Brush is enveloping trail sections near all the lakes. I attached a photo above Pratt Lake (which actually gets a lot of traffic). This area is in the Snoqualmie Mt Baker National Forest and with the recent defunding of the US Foresty Service I'm concerned about trail maintenance and need to find a way to contribute more.
