The parking lot was full at 11am, but it's possible to squeeze in various places down the road. Even with a full lot, the actual hike didn't feel too crowded.
Beautiful and copious flowers, especially if you like white. :-)
Someone on the way down said the bugs were bad at the top, but we didn't experience that. Definitely buggy, but not overwhelming.
There's a small loop you can do on the High Divide trail around the north side of Excelsior Peak before heading back down, and it's totally worth it for some beautiful meadows and slightly different wildflowers.
