Fremont Lookout — Monday, Jul. 14, 2025

Perfect clear day on a Monday at Sunrise! Snagged a timed entry permit the night before. This hike gets better each time you do it! The views are breathtaking. It is almost completely exposed to the elements and sun, so bring enough water and cover up to protect your skin. A nice walk up "summit" with a classic fire lookout at the top. The chipmunks have been fed so much, it's sad to see them beg so closely to humans. Please do not feed or harass wildlife. It's all open up there - no place to hide - so hit the restroom before your hike and plan accordingly. Happy Trails!
