We headed out from the Old Sauk #728 trail head -- almost no one was there at about 11:30 AM. We saw a few folks out on the trail -- mostly folks like us, on the more senior side of hikers (there was one group with 2 kids). We walked to the end of the 3 miles and came back on the ADA trail -- in part to use the loo! It was a bit of a trek from Seattle but worth it. The weather was nice and the river was beautiful. We did have to climb over a few logs, but we were able to do this without much worry.
